The Fairfield has single, twin, double, four-poster, deluxe, and family
rooms, having views of the garden and surrounding hills. Well behaved
children are most welcome and we encourage them to bring their parents!

Our breakfasts have an enviable reputation - a real feast to start the day, and we are
always happy to cater for vegetarian and special diets.

Guests are invited to relax in the comfortable surroundings of the residents lounge and
licensed bar. The lounge boasts a unique fireplace in which there is usually a roaring log
fire to keep you warm on those long chilly winter evenings. There is central heating
throughout, and all of the bedrooms have en-suite or private bath/shower rooms. In addition to a colour television, all bedrooms have
tea & coffee making facilities, assorted toiletries, hairdryer, and radio alarm.

The top floor of The Fairfield has been converted to make a charming low beamed self-catering flat, that has modest views of the
surrounding hills and Lake Windermere. The flat, called Claife Heights, has one en-suite bedroom and a lounge that incorporates
a compact kitchenette.

The Fairfield is also delighted to be able to offer its guests free internet access via a public terminal; or, if you have a Wifi-enabled
laptop with you, you can access the net from within the hotel via our free-access Wifi hot-spot hub. Essential for staying in touch

while you are away from home.
